The brand new wind farm, which because of the winter darkness could only be built during the summer months, has just gone live, feeding electricity at the full time.
The farm consists of 3 Wind Turbines generating up to 1MW of power. It is likely to cut diesel use by 120,000 Gallons and reduce carbon dioxide by 1,370 tonnes annually, turbine Antarctica at least virtually green. The Wind Turbines have been manufactured by Enercon, Make/Model E333.
