On course to become the worlds largest wind turbine supplier, Vestas has received a new order of 22 wind turbines V90-2.0 MW for a new project in Sweden. The 44MW wind farm is a brand new project by swedish company Eolus Vind AB and is located near Strömstad. The contract also includes 5 years of service. Eolus and Vestas have been working on projects together for the last 20 years and are well familiar with each others qualities. The commissioning of the wind turbines is expected to start in October 2011.

Eolus Vind AB is one of the leading Swedish wind power developers. Since the beginning in 1990, Eolus has installed more than 280 wind turbines, representing about 15 per cent of the total capacity in Sweden.
