The turbines are only two years old and had only been in operation for a total of 4 hours each as the installers constructed an inappropriate foundation and mounting so the turbines had to be switched off and stopped for safety issues.
The Ropatec Maxi 6 kW WindRotor is a single-phase grid-connected Vertical Axis Wind Turbine that can be either ground or building-mounted. These turbines come with AV Axis for roof mount installation. These turbines have sealed bearings which, according to the manufacturer Ropatec, should last between 20 and 25 years.
Note: All three units must be purchased and dismantled together at the same time.
