4 units of the legendary Vestas V27 – 225kW/50hz wind turbines available immediately.
NO LONGER AVAILABLE
Still in operation in Holland. Total price is €97k EUR ($124,000 USD) per unit – ExWorks owners site.
We offer these 4 units on behalf of one of our clients and these need to go down by no later than November 2010.
- In operation since 1999
- All 4 units are in very good condition and can be viewed in operation.
- Towers are 30m and the top has been adapted to the V27.

Dismantle costs are included, loaded onto truck.
PERFORMANCE
The expected energy yields for the Vestas V27 at various annual wind speeds (AMWS) is shown below:

The annual electricity consumption of a medium size home is in the region of 4-6 MWh or 11-16 kWh per day. At 6 m/s wind speed the Vestas V27 can provide the average annual energy needs for 100 homes.
2 transformers incl. housing can also be included in the sale for only an additional 3.5k EUR ($4,500 USD) per unit. The current configuration is that 2 turbines are connected to one transformer station.
The 2 transformers specifications are 630 kVA 400/10500V± 2,5;5% off load tap-changer, including housing.

We note that all the above 4 units are still in operation in Holland. We are inteested in buying these units provided a certification from an Internationally Accrediated third Party Certifying Agency in respect of fitness and is available. We offer US$ 1,50,000/- lumpsum for all four 225/50hz machines complete in all respects.

Can you please send details of these turbines and the maintennance records of the units. Are they still available? Are they able to be transported by sea container, i.e. multi piece tower?
Also what is included with the turbine? Controller? inverter? etc.

Are all towers in same condition as the one in the picture
(re rust at the top).
Is the price negotiable for the purchase of more than one machine.
Is it a one piece tower or can it be dismantled.
Why are they taking these units out of service? Are they replacing them with newer technology bigger units? How old are they ??? Have they been maintained by a reputable contractor and who are they so I may check on their records???? I see lots of rust on the top where they connect the two units How bad is it??? What about shipping when dismantaled can they be placed into containners and if so How Many containers are needed for one so I can calculate shipping, why atr the Boxes for the transformers comming with them??? as it is the complete unit!!!! Rrspectfully it is 6:35 PM right now in the states, and not 12:25 AM! Respectfully! Joseph! Wave Management Corp.
